About Helen

Helen H. Wu is a children’s book author, illustrator, translator and publisher, and the founder of CapyFun. Helen draws inspiration from the native South American capybara, whose calm, Zen-like demeanor reflects the tranquility of Eastern philosophy. As the publisher of Yeehoo Press, an independent children’s book publisher in San Diego, she loves sharing stories that celebrate cultural connections and help children understand the world.
